There are several quality standards for clothing in the EU, which are not directly related to the durability or strength of the material, but rather to safety, labeling, and the environment. These standards apply to all products sold on the EU market, including those manufactured outside the EU.
The most important standards and regulations are:
Chemicals and Safety
REACH Regulation: This regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) restricts the use of various chemicals in textiles. The goal is to protect human health and the environment from harmful substances. REACH prohibits or restricts the use of certain dyes and heavy metals, for example.
General Product Safety Directive: This directive ensures that all consumer products are safe. This also applies to clothing. If a product is found to have a safety risk (e.g., drawstrings that pose a risk of strangulation in children's clothing), it must be withdrawn from the market.
Labeling and Information
Textile Product Labeling: The EU regulation requires that the fiber composition of clothing be clearly stated. This means, for example, that the product must have a label stating whether it is 100% cotton, 50% polyester, etc. The presence of animal-derived, non-textile parts (e.g., a leather strap) must also be indicated.
CE Marking: While the CE mark is not mandatory for all clothing, it is required for personal protective equipment, such as certain work clothes. It indicates that the product meets the EU safety, health, and environmental requirements set for it.
Environment and Circular Economy
Textile Strategy: The EU is actively promoting the circular economy of textiles. This means that in the future, companies will have more responsibility for the entire life cycle of their products—from production to recycling. The goal is to reduce textile waste and extend the life of clothing.
Compliance with these standards is mandatory if a company wants to sell its products in the EU. Adhering to them ensures that consumers receive safe and properly labeled products.

Important Note on Print Quality
We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with the appearance of your ordered product. Therefore, it's good to note that the quality of the print may vary slightly depending on the fabric material you choose.
- Cotton: Images printed on cotton fabric are generally the brightest and most vibrant.
- Polyester: On polyester fabric, the print may be slightly paler compared to cotton. This is normal due to the material's properties.
We always strive to present products as accurately as possible in our online store. However, it's good to remember that our product images are digital mock-ups and may not perfectly reflect the final appearance of the print on different materials.
